Phil Steele names five Huskies to Midseason All-Pac-10 team

Phil Steele has named two Huskies to his Midseason All-Pac-10 Team and five overall. Here’s the team, always an interesting read to get an outsider’s assessment of who is doing what in the conference so far.
The two named to the first team are WR Jermaine Kearse and LB Mason Foster. Three others were named to the third team — QB Jake Locker, RB Chris Polk and PK Erik Folk.
By my count, the total of five is tied with Arizona State for eighth, ahead of only Washington State, which had four total.
Leading the way is USC with 13, followed by Cal and Oregon with 11, Stanford, Oregon State and UCLA with nine and Arizona with eight.
