Thursday links — Pac-10 on verge of momentous announcement, and you can watch hit here

This will be a momentous day for the Pac-10/12 Conference as at 11:30 a.m. will come the announcement of the new divisions for the expanded alignment.
Bud Withers of our staff laid out nicely the other day what is likely to happen, leading with the revenue sharing end of things.
Essentially, the divisions are expected to be a North-South split, with the four NW schools — UW, WSU, Oregon and Oregon State — aligned with Stanford and Cal in the North, and the other six in the South. Less certain is how scheduling will unfold.
All of that, however, is expected to be announced today and you will be able to WATCH IT LIVE HERE. I’ll post an entry that will feature a live video stream of the announcement a little later, and you’ll be able to see it all announced here at 11:30 a.m.
IN OTHER NEWS. …
— The Oregonian has this story on the pending conference announcements.
Jon Wilner has this report on what may happen.
— The Arizona Daily Star also breaks down the likely scenarios.
— And here’s the take from The Salt Lake Tribune, which notes that also expected to be announced is the location for the new conference football title game (likely to be home field of the regular-season champ) for the first few years.
— In UW football news, my story today focused on the ever-changing offensive line, though one that will apparently stay put this week with the same five that started Saturday against Oregon State.
Gregg Bell of GoHuskies looks at what may happen the rest of the way for UW.
— The Tucson Citizen has a detailed Arizona injury report, nothing that the Wildcats will be without one of their best defensive tackles, Justin Washington.
— The Arizona Daily Star notes the Wildcats are looking for better play out of their secondary.
— The Daily Star also has a video preview of the game
— CappersPicks says take Arizona.
— AOL FanHouse calls UW’s win at USC the upset of the year so far in the conference (I still think I’d go with UCLA over Texas).
—One thing I missed recently is that former Husky E.J. Savannah signed with the B.C. Lions a few weeks ago, then was released about a day later.
— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller says to watch the pass rushes of both UA and UW Saturday night as keys to the game.
— He also picks Arizona to beat UW, 27-24.
— Wilner picks Oregon to win tonight but UCLA to beat the spread.
Vince Grippi in Spokane has his usual assortment of Pac-10 links.
All for now. But again, make sure to check back here at 11:30 and we’ll have the live streaming webcast of the announcement.
