Friday morning links — Foster a Butkus semifinalist, and pre-game readings

I’ve made it to the airport and waiting for my flight to take off, leaving time to post a few links.
— First off, some recognition for Mason Foster, announced today as a semifinalist for the Butkus Award, honoring the nation’s best linebacker.
— The line has stayed pretty consistently at 6.5 in favor of Arizona all week\, not a ton of movement one way or the other.
— For my main story today, I took a midseason look at the Huskies. If I have time later, I’ll try to break down a few other stats I ran across in putting this story together.
— Also in our paper today, Bud Withers has his weekly power rankings and picks and selects Arizona to win 27-24.
— Here’s all the coverage from the Arizona Daily Star, including this look at memorable injuries for the Wildcats in the wake of the knee injury that has Nick Foles sidelined tomorrow.
Jon Wilner picks UW to beat the spread but Arizona to win the game.
Ted Miller’s weekly Pac-10 Did You Know? entry notes that the Huskies are 2-1 vs. ranked teams this year.
Vince Grippi wraps up all the other Pac-10 links.
All for now.
