Vote for your favorite Husky Classic — and a few other notes

UWTV, which regularly airs classic Husky football games, is letting viewers make the choice of which one they want to see on Monday.
The four choices are:
11/23/96 at WSU: UW’s first OT game ever (and not to give away the ending, but I think the Huskies win).
9/22/90 vs. USC: The “All I Saw Was Purple Game,” — though the fact that it was Todd Marinovich who made that quote, there could be a variety of reasons for why he was seeing purple.
11/23/02 at WSU: The game that wouldn’t end (and the last regular season game at their respective schools for coaches Rick Neuheisel and Mike Price).
10/19/91 at Cal: The game that was about as close as UW came to losing during the national title run.

IN OTHER NEWS. …
Ted Miller notes that Jake Locker has fallen to 16th on Mel Kiper’s Big Board this week.
Scott Eklund of Dawgman.com writes in a FoxSportsWest.com story that the future is bright for the Huskies.
Gregg Bell of GoHuskies.com has an informative look at how some scholarships at UW are funded.
— Here’s the Stanford team page from USA Today, and Washington’s.
Phil Steele, who picked UW to beat Oregon State two weeks ago, picks the Huskies to beat Stanford 31-30 (even if his computer numbers, as you can see, decisively favor the Cardinal).
— One thing I shouldn’t neglect to mention is that longtime UW assistant Randy Hart is now on the staff at Stanford and will make his first return since leaving Washington at the end of the 2008 season — though he faced the Huskies last year when he was at Notre Dame.
— Miller also takes a look at two Pac-10 coaches on the hot seatPaul Wulff and Dennis Erickson.
— This has nothing to do with UW football, but Deadspin has the details of one of the best all-time college football announcer meltdowns.
More after practice.
