Mourning after links

If you were there yesterday, it probably felt like the game last five hours.
But in what was actually one of the more amazing facts about the game, it lasted just two hours and 33 minutes. I’d have to do some research, but that seems like the shortest game I can remember, especially for one on TV.
On with the links. …
— Here’s all of our coverage. Included is Steve Kelley’s column stating that fans deserve better, and Bud Withers’ column on the precision of Stanford.
— Here’s the report from GoHuskies.com which includes some additional player and coach quotes.
Jon Wilner’s story in the San Jose Mercury News notes that Stanford had allowed 115 points the last three weeks. He also notes how quickly Stanford scored its first three TDs — a time of possession of just 6:37.
Tom Fitzgerald of the San Francisco Chronicle writes that Stanford had as many different scores — seven — as UW had first downs.
— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller recaps what we learned about the Pac-10 yesterday, none of which was good for the state of Washington.
— Wilner notes the Pac-10 is beginning to break into pretty distinct tiers of good teams and not-so-good.
— Lots of links around the Pac-10 from Vince Grippi.
— The Huskies fell to 114th in the nation in rushing defense and now play an Oregon team that is averaging 317 rushing yards per game.
All for now.
