The Huskies may not light up the scoreboard in Eugene Saturday. But for the second straight year, UW fans have lit up the Morrison Bridge in Portland purple and gold.
Here’s a report from The Oregonian on this year’s lighting as well as an explanation from the Willamette Light Brigade about the program. I wrote this story about last year’s effort (and the picture to the right is also what it looked like a year ago). Now to see if the Huskies can transfer some of the wattage onto the field Saturday.
