More scheduling notes

The Boulder Daily Camera tonight has published Colorado’s 2011 schedule, its first season in the new Pac-12, and confirmed what we reported earlier today that the Buffs will visit UW on Oct. 15.
The story also includes the note that the conference schedule for 2012 is simply flipped from 2011.
If so, that means UW would host USC, Utah, Stanford and Oregon State in 2012 while playing at Colorado, Cal, Arizona, Oregon and WSU.
And I would assume that would mean UW would then play the two teams it misses in 2011-12 — UCLA and Arizona State — in 2013 and 14.
And I would further assume those would be home-and-home meetings, giving UW its two meetings in LA every four years that has been widely reported to be the minimum. UW will play at USC in 2011 in the first year of the new Pac-12.
It is expected that the entire 2011 conference schedule will be released as early as Friday.
