Live chat at noon — and a few links and notes

As the headline says, we’ll have a live chat at noon today to preview the UCLA game and talk about whatever else concerning UW/Pac-10/college football.
Now a few notes and links in the meantime. …
— It was announced this week that the UW-Cal game Nov. 27 will be televised locally on FSN-NW. It will begin at 12:30 p.m.
— Our news department has more on the transportation issues surrounding the game.
Bud Withers looks at the Pac-10’s bowl situation, also quotes Steve Sarkisian and Scott Woodward talking about UW’s schedule this year, and picks UW to win.
— Two Orange County Register writers debate the UW-UCLA game.
Rick Neuheisel says that since it’s likely going to be wet, running the ball will be more important than ever (but will the Pistol be able to fire in the rain? That may be the whole question about this game).
— And speaking of the weather, forecast calls for 35 degrees and raining right around kickoff.
— Here are the Washington team notes from USA Today, and UCLA’s.
Jon Wilner has UW eighth in his weekly Pac-10 power ratings and says he doesn’t think UW will win its last three.
Ted Miller looks at who might win the big Pac-10 season awards (doesn’t look like UW needs to worry about clearing space in the trophy case).
— Interesting story from The Oregonian on Oregon’s opponents faking injuries.
— Forgot to include this earlier, but here’s the Twitter page for LA Daily News UCLA beat guy Jon Gold.
