My Top 25

The polls are out for this week and since only one of the top four played and none lost, no real change at the top.
As for my own poll, I moved Stanford up to No. 5 after its dominating win at Cal, and also shuffled around a few other teams in the middle of the pack due to some of the other results there (Nebraska losing, etc., Ohio State beating Iowa, etc.).
And for now, just three Pac-10 teams ranked — which as I’ve detailed on here previously, could be the only three Pac-10 teams to make it to a bowl game.
It’s hard to know exactly what that says about the conference. The conventional wisdom coming into the season was that the conference might be as deep as it had been in years, and that with USC dropping a bit, might have more parity.
But right now, just three Pac-10 teams deserve to be ranked, and depending on how Arizona’s season goes from here — a trip to Oregon this week could result in a third-straight loss — there’s a chance there could be just two at the end of the season.
Here’s my complete ballot:
1, Oregon
2, Boise State
3, Auburn
4, TCU
5, Stanford
6, Wisconsin
7, Ohio State
8, LSU
9, Oklahoma State
10, Michigan State
11, Alabama
12, Oklahoma
13, Virginia Tech
14, Arkansas
15, Texas A&M
16, Nebraska
17, Missouri
18, South Carolina
19, Iowa
20, Nevada
21, Mississippi State
22, Utah
23, Arizona
24, North Carolina State
25, Florida State
