Opening line has Nebraska favored by 14

Opening lines for all of the college football bowl games have been posted, and Nebraska is listed as a 14-point favorite over UW in the Holiday Bowl Dec. 30 in San Diego.
That’s no surprise given the records of the two teams — Nebraska finished 10-3 to UW’s 6-6 — and that the Cornhuskers beat Washington in Seattle 56-21 in September.
The line is the third-largest spread of the 35 bowl games, topped only by the 17 of Boise State over Utah in the Vegas and Oklahoma over Connecticut in the Fiesta.
UW has been a big underdog before in the Holiday, however, and done well.
The Huskies were 10-point underdogs to Kansas State in 1999 and covered, losing 24-20; and were 13-point underdogs to Texas in 2001 and covered, losing 47-43.
