Skyline WR Kasen Williams, who is set to sign with Washington a week from today, has received about as prestigious an honor as a high school player can get, being named the Parade All-America Player of the Year.

— ALSO, just heard Jake Locker on ESPN 710 Seattle and he dropped what sounds like a little bit of news in saying that his baseball contract with the Angels will be void once he signs an NFL contract. Locker signed a six-year contract with the Angels in Aug., 2009, reportedly receiving about $300,000. The Angels signed him to sew up his rights should he decide to ever play baseball. But Locker has said from the start he planned to concentrate solely on football, and other than a few days at spring training last March apparently has done nothing baseball-related since signing. And now it sounds like soon there will be no contractual obligation either way once Locker signs an NFL contract.
