Thursday links — Foster’s diary, ex-Husky gets new job and more

It’s that time of year where there won’t be a lot on certain mornings to pass along.

But found a few things, most notably the latest draft diary by Mason Foster for the National Football Post. Foster writes mostly about his experience at the Senior Bowl, haning out with Jake Locker and other players, and the differences in being coached at the college and NFL levels.

IN OTHER NEWS. …

— Former Husky Ray Horton has been hired as the new defensive coordinator of the Arizona Cardinals.

— Here’s the condensed version of the live chat with UW coach Steve Sarkisian (this ran in the printed version of the paper today).

— If you want an early start on recruiting for the Class of 2012, Rivals.com came out with its top 250 Watch List this week. Here’s the list. And here’s the story.

— Rivals also has its WAC spring primer (which includes Hawaii, which visits UW for a non-conference game this season).

— Not necessarily football related, but Cal will make a final decision today on whether to drop a few sports.

All for now.
