Quick post-practice report

The Huskies are off the field following their Tuesday practice. Here are a few quick notes:

— Practice began outside but heavy winds moved it inside as UW coach Steve Sarkisian wanted the team to be able to have good conditions for passing.

— Both Jake Locker and Shaun Alexander attended practice, spending a while talking on the sidelines.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins left practice late with a quad injury. It’s unclear how long he may be out, or if he will be out. Sarkisian, though, said that “we don’t think it’s serious” and that he could be back Thursday or Saturday. He said pulling him off the field was as much precautionary as anything. That appeared to be the only injury as the team put on pads for the first time this spring.

— OLs Ben Riva and Colin Porter sat out with the flu. They could be back Thursday.

— DE Talia Crichton practiced in full pads and appears ahead of where they thought he would be. Senio Kelemete is also fully participating after it was thought he might be limited.

I’ll have a more complete report later.
