Sunday links — Wrapping up a busy spring Saturday

It finally appears to be a really nice day here, and family activities beckon. But I’ll pass along a few links on the way out the door. …

—- Here’s my story for the print edition on Saturday’s practice/scrimmage.

— The official site has some video of Steve Sarkisian’s post-practice meeting with the media, and a story on Chris Polk.

— Here’s the report from the News Tribune.

— WSU wrapped up spring drills Saturday with another good day from QB Jeff Tuel. More on the Cougs here if you want it.

— USC’s scrimmage Saturday was also dominated by the defense.

— More than 15,000 reportedly came out to watch Utah’s final spring scrimmage.

— Sounds like Arizona State was a little sloppy during its scrimmage Saturday.

— Arizona had a potentially significant injury to a starting linebacker Saturday.

— Nebraska tried not to show much of its offense during its spring game Saturday in front of 66,784. It sounds like the kicker and snapper tried to pull a fast one at the end of the game.

— Former Husky Demitrius Bronson had 58 yards on nine carries for Eastern Washington during its scrimmage Saturday as he battles to replace Taiwan Jones as the team’s starter at that spot. EWU is the first opponent for UW next year at Husky Stadium.

— Here’s a good overview of Hawaii as the Warriors end spring practice. Hawaii will follow EWU into Husky Stadium next September.

— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller also wraps up the Pac-12 scrimmages and says the UW defensive line may fall in the “better than you might think” category.

All for now.
