Friday night notes

A few more notes to pass along before calling it a Friday night. …

— Remember, tomorrow’s practice/scrimmage is at 11 a.m. at Memorial Stadium. It is open to the public. Here are details on attending and parking.

— As I Tweeted earlier, I forgot to mention in yesterday’s practice report that JC transfer linebacker Thomas Tutogi appears to be playing in the middle now after starting out primarily at weakside, where Mason Foster played last season. Something worth watching tomorrow. Tutogi ran with the second unit at MLB for much of Thursday’s practice. Obviously, the starting spot there is not in question with senior Cort Dennison back.

— Lots of buzz lately that the Titans may be wanting to take Jake Locker at No. 8 overall. The Titans, if you recall, stayed in Seattle to work out Locker in private the day after UW’s Pro Day here last month.

— I think I forgot to link this, as well — Scout.com has rated UW coach Steve Sarkisian No. 39 nationally and fourth among Pac-12 coaches.

— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller has an interesting piece on former UW coach Rick Neuheisel and his hot seat status at UCLA.

— Lots of news and notes around the Pac-12 from The Oregonian.

All for now.
