Monday afternoon notes — Spring Game coverage, Locker-Favre comparison, and more

A few notes to pass along. …

— First off, UW’s official Spring Game is Saturday at 11 a.m. at Husky Stadium. And the only way to see it will be to attend in person. There will be no streaming coverage of the game on-line and no other telecast — live, delayed or otherwise. Also, the only radio coverage will be on KJR-AM 950. However, that will not be streamed on-line, so you’ll have to get near a radio that picks up KJR to hear it. We’ll have our usual live blogging here, and GoHuskies.com will also have an online chat.

There is no charge to attend the game, however, all parking will cost $7. Here is information on parking.

— A Redskins blog has a fascinating look at just how similar Brett Favre and Jake Locker were during their college careers, and also assesses what it all might mean going forward.

— Times columnist Jerry Brewer counts the reasons to like Locker.

— It looks like the ESPN E:60 show will have a segment on Locker tomorrow at 4 p.m.

— The BusinessOfCollegeSports.com breaks down which Pac-10 athletic departments receive student fees. UW is not one of them.

All for now.
