Always something out there. …

— We’ll lead off with Ted Miller’s assessment of Steve Sarkisian’s decision this week to name Keith Price the starting QB and how it compares to some of the QB battles at USC during Sarkisian’s time there.

— UW is 24th in Rivals.com’s list of the top football/basketball programs during the BCS era.

— WalterFootball.com offers a 2012 mock draft that has both Desmond Trufant and Chris Polk going in the second round — maybe not the happiest of prospects for UW fans.

— CBSSports.com examines Jake Locker’s future at Tennessee.

— Could Gus Johnson end up calling UW games as part of the new FOX Pac-12 package? YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

— Should have passes this along with the last entry, but here’s a list of all the bowl games for the 2011-12 season (and remember that some do not yet have a time and date).

— The BusinessInsider says Utah and Colorado are the big winners of the Pac-12’s new TV deal.
