Tuesday links

I’m not back on the clock full-time just yet — still out of town as I type this — but thought I’d get a few links up. …

— I’ll start with UW coach Steve Sarkisian’s appearance at the Huskies Celebrating Huskies event in Bremerton last night. This is the first of five of these over the next two weeks so expect some similar stories over that time.

— Seahawks coach Pete Carroll appeared at the APSE meeting at the Times’ office yesterday and also touched on some college football topics.

Bud Withers of our staff has an extensive overview of the Pac-12’s spring.

— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller has had a bunch of spring wrapup stuff, including this look at UW.

— Miller also has this overall look at news and notes around the conference during the spring.

— He also lists all the spring game attendances in the Pac-12 with UW fifth with 10,000.

— Miller also has UW sixth in his post-spring Pac-12 power rankings.

— SI.com’s Peter King says the Titans have a lot riding on Jake Locker.

— The Honolulu Star-Advertiser has a nice story on Shane Brostek, a key UW recruiting target for 2012 and son of former Husky Bern (though no real news on his recruitment).

— Finally, it appears that Gus Johnson is indeed headed to FOX to call Pac-12 football games.
