Sark to co-host hour with Mitch Levy tomorrow; a few other notes

Well, I guess I’d better get up and listen to this, as KJR-AM morning host Mitch Levy reports he will have UW coach Steve Sarkisian on to co-host the entire 9 a.m. hour tomorrow (Thursday).

You can listen to it here or if you have one of those old-fashioned, radio thingies, tune to 950-AM in the Seattle area.

Obviously, should be an interesting hour for UW fans.

IN OTHER NEWS. …

Travis Wilson, a QB from San Clemente, Calif., who visited UW during spring practice, has committed to Utah, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. UW already has a commitment for the Class of 2012 from Mercer Island’s Jeff Lindquist, but it has been thought the Huskies would take two QBs in this class. UW is also reported to have offers out to uncommitted QBs Cyler Miles of Denver and Jake Rodrigues of Rocklin, Calif. (Here’s a full list of QBs UW could have interest in).

— Missed this earlier this week, but Yahoo.com has released its list of the top 100 recruits for the Class of 2012, and it includes two Washington state players — linemen Joshua Garnett of Puyallup (No. 22) and Zach Banner of Lakes (No. 31).

— The Fiesta Bowl got penalized today but will stay in the BCS rotation.

— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller with some good stuff in his latest mailbag.

— Multichannel.com with some interesting thoughts on the Pac-12’s new TV deal.

— The Huskies are hosting their strength and conditioning camp this weekend.

All for now.
