Live chat at noon — and a couple links

First off, we’ll hold a live chat today at noon.

Now for a couple of links. …

— The most interesting Pac-12 story today comes out of Oregon State, where the Beavers have demoted their longtime trainer, apparently as a reaction to a string of injuries to key players the last few years.

— A Cal blog simulates the 2011 season for the Bears and gives a slight edge to its team against the Huskies.

— It’s an obvious point, but CBSSports.com details how Jake Locker and other rookie QBs won’t be helped by the lockout.

— Interesting read on the NCAA’s own web site stating that it’s time for major college football to decide if it is in or out of the NCAA.

— This is a little late, but Tyler Tuiasosopo — brother of former UW LB Trenton Tuiasosopo and cousin of Marques, Zach and Matt — is now playing QB at Central and was 5-9 in that school’s spring game. He initially walked on at UCLA.

— Rivals.com has a good, concise overview of all the various conference TV deals.

— Colorado head coach Jon Embree isn’t loving that he can’t go on the road recruiting right now (a lament shared by Steve Sarkisian).

All for now, chat at noon.
