Saturday links — UW signee track results, and Pac-12 thoughts

Some rapturous links to pass along. …

— UW signee Kasen Williams won the triple jump in 45 feet, 5 inches at the KingCo 4A/WesCo 4A meet Friday. He’ll compete in the state champonships next week at Mount Tahoma.

— So, apparently, will fellow 2011 signee Danny Shelton, who threw the shot 56 feet, 7.5 inches at a regional meet Friday.

— Another 2011 signee, Marvin Hall of Dorsey high in Los Angeles, ran a 10.93 100 earlier this week and will compete in the LA City Section finals next Thursday.

Jon Wilner has UW third in the Pac-12 North in his latest projection.

— The Salt Lake Tribune includes Chris Polk as one of five players to watch in an overview of what awaits Utah in the Pac-12 this year.

Jake Locker mentioned in this story about how draftees are handling the lockout.

All for now.
