UW fans probably better be ready to be flexible this year

A few more TV selections of Pac-12 football games this fall were announced today, but none involve UW.

Here’s the press release from the conference.

So that means that at the moment, just two UW games have kickoff times, both on the road — Oct. 22 at Stanford (5 p.m.) and Nov. 12 at USC (12:30 p.m.)

A few more games, particularly some of the early season contests that would go on ROOT Sports for regional telecast, could be announced later this summer.

But a lot of gametimes and TV situations won’t be decided until the season, either 12 or, less common, six days ahead of time.

Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott said it will be a priority of the conference to ask its schools to be increasingly flexible to get the best games on each week and the schedule announced so far seems to be putting that into action. Fans who want to attend in person will have to follow suit.
