Wednesday links — Recruiting, Locker and more

Though despite what the headline says, we’ll start with a column from our own Jerry Brewer , who writes that the real problem at Ohio State is that the head coach simply became too powerful — with a plea that it never happen similarly at Washington.

A hard point to argue, I think.

IN OTHER NEWS. …

— Lots of pictures and a story of Jake Locker, wearing some UW gear, working out with the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday.

— Several reports out there that cornerbacks Brandon Beaver and Alphonso Marsh of Dominguez High in Compton, Calif., will make their college announcement Tuesday. Each is heavily considering UW along with Arizona and UCLA. UPDATE, 10:40 — Now seeing reports that they will not be announcing this week. So sounds like these two are on hold for now.

— No real news, but here’s an update on Denver QB Cyler Miles, who is set to announce on Friday and is considering UW.
