Yet another new Husky?

Sounds like it, as Scout.com is reporting tonight that UW has also received a commitment from cornerback Damontae Kazee of Cajon High in San Bernardino, Calif.

The Scout.com story reports that Kazee committed two months ago but has kept it quiet. He also reported an offer from Arizona State. And this one might more properly go in the “soft verbal” category as Kazee said he plans to “take all my visits” and called Boise State his “top school” and that the Broncos may be close to offering.

If he stays committed, he’ll be the seventh in the class and the second cornerback (Darien Washington the other).

He’s listed at 5-11, 170 pounds but does not yet have an evaluation from any of the major recruiting services. He had five interceptions for Cajon last season and also 32 receptions as a receiver. He was named to the All-San Andreas League First Team on both sides of the ball last year as a junior.

Here’s a story on one game last fall when Kazee starred on both sides of the ball to lead his team to a win.

His older brother, Walter, is a running back at San Diego State.

Here’s a little bit of video:
