Two more new Huskies?

According to various reports today, UW has two more new commits — safety Taylor Lagace of Arcadia, Calif., and defensive end Kalei Auelua of famed St. Louis High in Honolulu.

Both Dawgman.com and Realdawg.com reported the commitments.

They will be the 14th and 15th commitments for UW’s rapidly-filling Class of 2012 as the Huskies have gotten 11 commitments since June 12.

Scout.com and Rivals.com each give Lagace a three-star rating. He was reported as also having an offer from Boise State. Here is his MaxPreps stat profile from last season.

The 6-1, 200-pounder caught 42 passes for 650 yards last season but appears to project as a safety in college.

The 6-3, 240-pound Auelua does not have ratings yet from the recruiting sites, but had reported offers from the likes of UCLA, Colorado and Utah, speaking to the interest he was getting.

He recently led all players in the bench press at the Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance football combine.
