Live chat at noon — and a few morning links

It’s been a while since we’ve chatted, so let’s catch up on the recent news and begin looking ahead to the start of the season with a live chat today at noon.

Until then, a few morning links. …

— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller provided links to all of the Blue Ribbon previews. Here is Washington’s (though it’s an Insider story).

— Miller also reviews Phil Steele’s rankings of the best draft eligible Pac-12 players.

Jon Wilner reports on what Jeff Tedford had to say about his relationship with Willie Lyles.

— UW’s first opponent, Eastern Washington, has two entries on the watch list for the Walter Payton Award — QB Bo Levi Mitchell and WR Brandon Kaufman.

— Nice Q-and-A with Mason Foster from a Tampa Bay blog.

Danny O’Neil says he can’t wait for Nate Robinson to try to play in the NFL.

— Rivals.com continues its 10-year anniversary with some really good stuff, including this look at what happened to every five-star commit during that time. Also included is this story on the best recruiting wars, and this one on the best two-star recruits.

— Arizona State suffered a surprising personnel loss yesterday continuing a run of what has seemed just like bad news for everyone in the conference of late.

— Miller also reports on just how much Rick Neuheisel wanted Norm Chow to go.

All for now.
