UW free agent signee updates

This might have gotten lost in the Media Day thread, so I’ll put the list out here, as well.

As of 5:45 p.m., three UW players who were not selected in the 2011 draft signed today as free agents, the first day players could sign following the end of the lockout:

— Offensive lineman Cody Habben with the San Diego Chargers;
— Safety Nate Williams with the Baltimore Ravens;
— and fullback Dorson Boyce with the Seahawks.

Linebacker Victor Aiyewa is also expected to sign, as well as possibly OL Ryan Tolar and FB Austin Sylvester.

Also, linebacker Mason Foster, taken in the third round by Tampa Bay, signed a four-year contract today (details here).

Jake Locker has yet to sign, but was the first player to arrive at the Titans’ headquarters today amidst much speculation that the team is pursuing now-former Seahawk quarterback Matt Hasselbeck.
