While the official Pac-12 media day is over, it goes on for the coaches, who now are back east for two more days of meeting and greeting.
Here’s UW coach Steve Sarkisian and a few others standing on Wall Street.
Vince Grippi of The Spokesman-Review has every link you could possibly want from Media Day.
But here are a few I’ll highlight. …
— Some interesting stuff here from Jon Wilner on Andrew Luck’s decision to stay at Stanford, witih some quotes from Sarkisian comparing that to Jake Locker’s situation.
— Sarkisian also mentioned in this media day roundup from CBSSports.com.
— Oregonian columnist John Canzano writes about his attempt to get some answers from Oregon coach Chip Kelly.
— Chris Dufresne of the LA Times says the Oregon cloud cast a pall over media day.
— George Schroeder of the Eugene Register-Guard says the Ducks need transperency.
— Here’s a roundup of all Oregon coverage from the R-G.
— The Orange County Register wrote about Rick Neuheisel’s hot seat.
— USC coach Lane Kiffin said he still can’t believe De’Anthony Thomas got away.
— And in NFL news, looks like Mat Hasselbeck is headed to the Titans, which means Jake Locker’s probably headed to a backup role for a little while. I have yet to see or hear any confirmed reports of other UW undrafted free agents signing with teams since the three that were reported on Tuesday, but more are expected.
All for now.
