Sunday links — ESPN guys say Huskies headed to Vegas

The Huskies are taking the day off other than Picture Day from 11:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the stadium.

But that doesn’t stop us from finding a few links to pass along. …

— ESPN’s Mark Schlabach and Brad Edwards each project the Huskies to make it to the Vegas Bowl and play TCU — that seems like a pretty agreeable setting and matchup. That game is Dec. 22.

— Eastern Washington, UW’s first opponent, also scrimmaged yesterday. Former Husky Demitrius Bronson scored a touchdown and had 34 yards on seven carries.

— More thoughts on Mason Foster’s progress in Tampa Bay. And if you missed it, Ochocino said he’d pay Foster’s fine from the hit the other day, but the NFL won’t allow it.

— Some thoughts on Jake Locker’s game last night in a notebook item from Titans.com.

Caleb Smith, a tight end from Kentridge who also had a UW offer, has committed to Oregon State.

— The Go2Guy has a new website and apologizes for asking Steve Sarkisian the other day who his starting quarterback will be.

Dan Bickley of the Arizona Republic says no one cares enough about ASU football for that program to land in any real trouble.

George Schroeder with a nicely nuanced view of the Lache Seastrunk transfer.
