Depth chart for Eastern released

The official game notes for the opener against Eastern are now out.

First, here’s the official TV info straight from the release: The Washington-EWU game will air live to a regional audience on ROOT Sports television (formerly FSN Northwest) with Tom Glasgow, former Husky and Pro Football Hall of Famer Warren Moon, Jason Stiles and Jen Mueller providing the commentary.

I’ll provide the entire depth below, but first a few highlights:

— Chris Polk and Quinton Richardson are listed, but I’d wait a few days before assuming they are going to play;

— Again, a few either/ors at contested spots, namely punter and tight end;

— True frosh listed on the depth chart are Kasen Williams, Bishop Sankey, Nick Holt, Dezden Petty, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, John Timu, Marcus Peters, Danny Shelton and James Sample. (And Derrick Brown as the No. 3 QB, though he is likely still in the plans to redshirt). All other scholarship true frosh are likely on the redshirt track;

— No real surprises, though you’ll note they have done away with the “rush end” spot for now and simply now list Josh Shirley as a backup defensive end, and you’ll note Nate Fellner the starter at free safety though I imagine both will play at that spot.

Here’s the entire depth chart (and again, this is the official one, not mine, so forward any complaints to the school):
