The interview sessions are wrapping up following UW’s 40-32 win over Hawaii here today.
Husky coach Steve Sarkisian said that “it feels great to be 2-0” and that he liked the energy and intensity today, among other things, which you can see in the video below.
In terms of injuries, Sarkisian said Nate Fellner re-aggravated a hamstring injury late in the game, which is why he was replaced by Justin Glenn. He’s not sure if that will linger into next week. LB Cort Dennison suffered a quad bruise that’s not considered serious, and safety Greg Walker a concussion, also not considered serious.
He also said WR Marvin Hall will enroll in January. Hall was admitted as a partial qualifier, which means he could have enrolled at UW now but he would not be eligible to play. He will stay home in Los Angeles and take a class there and then enroll in January and be fully eligible for spring ball.
