Saturday’s game is obviously the first on the road this year for Washington, which always presents some special challenges. Most notable may be simply dealing with the crowd noise of the 81,091 expected at Memorial Stadium.
As teams commonly do, UW has been practicing with piped-in crowd noise all week to get the players acclimated to communicating in harsh environs.
