The latest news and analysis on the Montlake Dawgs.

September 27, 2011 at 4:26 PM

Tuesday afternoon notes

With school starting this week, the Huskies have moved their practices back from the last couple weeks, beginning at 4 p.m.

That also dovetails with the 4 p.m. kickoff Saturday at Utah, so a win-win all the way around for the Huskies on that one.

That, however, means not much from practice until later tonight. So thought I’d pass along a few links to pass the time. …

— The next episode of the Greatest Moments at Husky Stadium series debuts Friday night at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. on UWTV.

The episode is called “Too Much Tui,” and is described this way:

“Perhaps the greatest Husky performance ever by an all-time Husky great, Marques Tuiasosopo shows the Dawgs the way in an unbelievable individual effort. Home grown Husky Tuiasosopo passed for over 300 yards, while rushing for 200…in the same game against Stanford on October 10, 1999. UW fans and players of every generation marvel at the will of the man they call ‘Tui.'”

— The Salt Lake Tribune’s Utah blog notes that if you are industrious, there are still ways to get tickets to Saturday’s game.

— The Trib also details Utah’s success after byes.

— SBNation has a solid breakdown of UW’s, well, breakdown of Cal’s 90-yard TD pass Saturday.

— However, in happier viewing for Husky fans, SBNation also has a breakdown of Chris Polk’s touchdown catch.

— ESPN.com’s bowl projections have UW going to either the Sun or the Vegas.

— Athlon’s is the latest to profile Keith Price’s fast start.
