A few quick post-game notes

Sorry for the delay.

Deadline stories and some computer issues — a seemingly weekly deal with the internet in press boxes — has me behind the 8-ball here. When I can, I have lots of video to post and some other stuff.

But a few quick notes:

— The only injuries of note were sprained ankles to Kasen Williams and Keith Price. Williams’ may be more of an issue than Price’s, who said it wasn’t that serious. He said the knees made it through fine. No other apparent injuries.

— Steve Sarkisian praised the defense and said it was “the key to the game” for keeping the Huskies in it until the offense could get on track.

— Nick Holt said the defense “outhit” Utah and that was the key in forcing the turnovers and stopping the running game. Both said the play of Semisi Tokolahi and having a mammoth defensive front helped.

— Utah didn’t have a run of longer than six yards and Utes coach Kyle Whittingham said “I was surprised that we weren’t able to run the ball tonight. There weren’t any open holes.”

— Jordan Wynn for Utah suffered a shoulder injury but there was no word afterward how long he may be out.
