Video: Sarkisian’s Monday press conference

UW coach Steve Sarkisian’s weekly Monday press conference has concluded. There’s some video of the first nine or so minutes below, and as always, I’ll have a more complete transcript later.

A few quick notes:

— X-rays on Kasen Williams’ ankle were negative so he could be back as soon as today.

Keith Price has a sore ankle but it’s nothing serious, Sarkisian said. Price, though, will likely not do much practicing during the bye week.

— Sarkisian said he lthought about putting in Nick Montana at the end of the game but left Price in because he wanted the offense to finish with a good drive, noting the offense has struggled to finish games in the fourth quarter earlier this year, saying that had been a real theme of the week of practice (you can see his answer to that in the video below).

— He said Taz Stevenson and James Sample, since they have already played this year, cannot redshirt so the hope is that they can get healthy during the bye and get back on the field.
