Wednesday afternoon links and notes — Price added to Maxwell Award watch list

Keith Price’s hot start to this season was recognized this week when his name was added to the watch list for the Maxwell Award, given annually to the best college football player in the country.

Here’s the press release on that, which includes background on the award itself (and here’s a list of everyone who has won it).

Price is tied for second in the nation in touchdown passes with 17, throwing three or more in all five UW games.
