Gray and overcast as Saturday beckons. But it’s also a Gameday for the Huskies for the first time in two weeks, which means no time to waste. ….

— Remember, kickoff is at 12:30 p.m. and television on ROOT Sports. Remember also that we’ll have our usual Gameday live chat, starting up around 11 a.m. or so.

— Here’s my preview story, UW saying it won’t look past Colorado.

— And the Scouting Report.

— Here’s KJR’s Gameday Primer.

— Here’s the preview from UW’s official site.

— And here’s the Flipcard showing the head official is Terry Leyden, another of the new ones to the Pac-12 this year — he worked last year in the Mountain West. Don’t remember him doing a UW game. He most recently did the Arizona-Oregon State game last weekend.

Bruce Feldman says the Huskies are on the rise.

— The Boulder Daily Camera notes that CU has lost 20 straight road games.

— The Denver Post features Devin Aguilar in its preview and also has more in its CU blog.

Bud Withers examines the latest in college football realignment.

— Lots of good stuff in Ted Miller’s Mailbag, including whether Jeff Tedford’s seat is hot.

— One of our high school roundups for today’s paper includes updates on UW commits Jeff Lindquist (303 yards, 4 TDs) and Jason Thompson (two TD passes, one TD catch, one TD run).

— Big test for ASU tonight at Oregon and for WSU in Pullman against Stanford. Bud Withers picks Stanford 38-27.
