We’ll start off with the usual Thursday note that we’ll have our usual Thursday live chat at noon today. Should be able to find a few things to chat about. …
Next, some big news coming out of Stanford this morning that starting safety Delano Howell — who has 25 tackles this year and is regarded as one of the leaders of the defense (and is also the younger brother of former Husky Dan Howell) — is out for the game with a hand injury. That puts Stanford without two defenders for this game who were on a lot of pre-season all-conference lists with linebacker Shayne Skov already out for the year with a knee injury suffered against Arizona.
