Greatest Moments in Husky Stadium series continues

With the Huskies facing a game Saturday that could prove something of a defining moment for this season — as well as helping define exactly how close the program is to returning to elite status — it’s somewhat fitting that the Greatest Moments at Husky Stadium series focuses this week on a similarly defining moment of the Don James Era.

The latest episode of the show, which will air Friday night at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. on UWTV (Channel 27 in the Seattle area — more details here) centers on the 1977 season, and specifically a 28-10 win over USC that was the pivotal victory in sending the Huskies to the Rose Bowl that season, in what was James’ third year as coach.
