Monday morning news and notes

A few links and news and notes to pass along. …

— UW’s official game notes for this week are out, which includes the depth chart (on page 10). The only real significant thing I see on the depth chart is a listing of three potential starters at free safety — Will Shamburger, Nate Fellner or Justin Glenn (and listed in that order). Glenn was hurt last week and didn’t play while Shamburger started and got most of the time but had to sit out for a while with cramps, Fellner coming in and making a notable hit (that incurred a controversial penalty) as well as making an interception. Otherwise, looks essentially the same.

— The TV situation for this week’s game is basically the same as last week’s — live on FSN nationally (which means ROOT Sports locally) with the broadcast team of Craig Bolerjack, Joel Klatt and Petros Papadakis.

— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller ranks UW fifth in the Pac-12 this week. He also calls Chris Polk the offensive standout
of the weekend.

— Miller also has this update on the Pac-12 race.

Seth Kolloen with a good breakdown of one of Ron Holmes’ most memorable plays.

— Here’s a rundown of Oregon stories from The Oregonian.

— Here is Oregon’s national statistical ranking for this week.

— USA Today reviews the weekend in the Pac-12, as does Rivals.com.
