The opening lines for next week’s games are out, and USC is listed as a 13.5-point favorite over the Huskies in a 12:30 p.m. game Saturday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
UW, though, has overcome big spreads to beat USC the last two years. The Trojans were a 19-point favorite in Seattle in 2009 when the Huskies pulled off a 16-13 upset, and were a 10-point favorite last year in Los Angeles when UW won 32-31.
Can the Huskies do it a third time? That will be an obvious storyline of this week.
In other Pac-12 lines:
— Stanford is a 3-point favorite over visiting Oregon in what is shaping up as the game of the year in the conference;
— Cal is a 10-point favorite over visiting Oregon State;
— Arizona State is a 12.5-point favorite at Washington State;
— Utah is a 7.5-point favorite over visiting UCLA in a game the Bruins have to win to maintain control of the Pac-12 South;
— and Arizona is a 13.5-point favorite at Colorado.
