A few Monday morning notes

A more notes to pass along this morning while waiting for Steve Sarkisian’s noon press conference. …

— As referenced in this space Friday, there were a lot of visitors at UW this weekend. Greg Biggins Tweeted this morning that there were no commitments but that lots of the players liked their trips, and it sounds like some good groundwork made for the future. Biggins has reports on cornerbacks Brandon Beaver and Alphonso Marsh. Marsh says he plans to visit Utah and maybe Arizona and USC and won’t likely decide until January. Beaver also visited Nebraska and said he will visit Cal Dec. 9 and wants to take all five trips before making a decision.

— The Pac-12 announced this morning the details of its conference network. Ted Miller has a good report on how it will all work.

— Here’s the LA Daily News’ Monday update on USC.

— Miller drops UW to sixth in his weekly power ratings, with UCLA making a big move and also offers a review of the weekend.

Jon Wilner notes the Oregon-Stanford game is the first matchup of Top 10 teams in the Bay Area since the 1991 UW-Cal game.

Bud Withers also reviews the weekend in the Pac-12.

— Athlon’s has UW rated fourth in the conference.

— SportsChatPlace says take UW and the points.

— The line has come down to as little as 12.
