We’re still waiting for an official time for the Nov. 19 game against Oregon State.
But it has been announced in the last few minutes that the Apple Cup game against WSU on Nov. 26 at CenturyLink Field will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will be televised nationally on Versus.
Here’s a press release from UW with some details on both the Apple Cup time and the OSU situation, which is now in the hands of Oregon State after the game was not picked up as part of the conference’s TV package.
UPDATE (7 p.m.) — To clear up some questions I’ve gotten, what the OSU news means is that none of the Pac-12 TV partners wanted the game for any of their time slots. OSU, as the home team, now has the option to work out TV arrangements with its partners, meaning to do a local production of the game. This is the last time UW would face this situation as next year, this is exactly the type of game that would head straight to the Pac-12 Network. But for this year, that’s not an option. UW has had every game televised live since the home loss to Stanford in 2006.
