Post-game quotes and video — UW QB Keith Price

Here are a few quotes from UW quarterback Keith Price as well as some video:

On his condition: “I will be ready to play next week.”

On wanting to stay in the game if it was competitive: “Oh yeah, I would have found a way.”

On wanting to stay in: “They didn’t let me back in. I wanted to get back iun and I was ready to get back in. But they thought it was best for me to stay out.”

On the offensive struggles: “Execution. We just aren’t executing for some reason. I’m not sure what’s going on. We have to get it fixed.”

On his knees: “It was both knees. I’ve just got to find a way to finish games.”

On feeling pressure in the pocket: “I’ve just gotta trust my line and stay in the pocket a little longer. And deliver balls and know I’m going to get hit. I think there was a play or two where I left the pocket kind of early. I just have to stay there and deliver when my team needs me to.”

On the bad snap on the safety: “The ball kind of tipped my hand. I should have grabbed it with two hands. I whould have went up with two hands and try to make a play. Then I went got the ball and tried to throw it out, but it was too late.”

On USC shutting down the running game: “It definitely makes it tough. We are playing from behind most of the game and you have to throw the ball to get back in the game. It’s just rough.”

On struggling to run with his knees: “Definitely, you guys can see it. You guys are no fools./ I can’t trick you. It’s definitely holding me down a little bit, but we still have to win.

On defenses doing different things against him: “They’re doing a good job of game planning. But we wstill have to execute. It’s not so much of what they are doing, it’s what we are doing. And we aren’t executing.”

On throwing a lot of short passes: “We just kept putting ourselves in second and long and third and long, we weren’t very successful on first down. We got away from our game plan because we were chasing yards.”

On the first play of the game: “We figure out our script a couple days early. We thought we were going to hit them big and we didn’t.”
