All-Pac-12 Team announced — Polk first team, Kelemete and Dennison second team

The All-Pac-12 Team, as selected by the conference’s coaches, has been released, and one Husky was named to the first team — tailback Chris Polk.

Linebacker Cort Dennison and offensive tackle Senio Kelemete were named to the second team.

Names as honorable mention were receivers Devin Aguilar and Jermaine Kearse, tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins, quarterback Keith Price, cornerback Desmond Trufant and defensive tackle Alameda Ta’amu.

Here is the entire team including the players of the year (Andrew Luck of Stanford and Mychal Kendricks of Cal) and coach of the year (Stanford’s David Shaw).

Polk is only the second Husky since 2006 named to the all-conference team, Mason Foster the last year being the other.

Polk finished the regular season with 1,341 yards, a total he can add to when the Huskies play a bowl game next mont.

Dennison finished the regular season with 113 tackles to lead the Pac-12 while Kelemete was the leader of UW’s offensive line.

UPDATEBud Withers has his own thoughts on the team, as does Jon Wilner.
