Two quick personnel notes

A couple quick personnel notes to pass along. …

— No sooner did I post the previous blog than UW officially announced that Marvin Hall and Antavius Sims are enrolled and in school. Sims will be a junior with two years to play two, and is being listed by UW as an athlete. With basically all-new defensive coaches now, we’ll see what they plan to do with him. Hall will be a true freshman with five years to play four and is a receiver who also could factor into the return games.

— Also, cleaning up a piece of business from the Alamo Bowl that we weren’t able to address in the chaotic aftermath, but starting fullback Tim Tucker was suspended for the game for what the school says is a “violation of team rules.” That’s why Jonathan Amosa got the start at fullback and played throughout. The school says the suspension was for the Alamo Bowl only. Tucker will be a junior in 2012.
