South stands come down

huskystadiumrutz.jpg

If you were watching on HuskyStadium.com today, you saw the south stands come completely down.

The picture above was taken by Times photographer Dean Rutz about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, before the job was complete.

A few hours later, the stands themselves were no more.

The south stands falling today falls in line with the timeline the school has posted on the HuskyStadium.com web site.

As the timeline states, excavation is expected to be completed by March with the beginning of construction on the football operations building on the west side scheduled for May.
