The long wait to find out where Zach Banner will attend college will end Monday, as the Lakes High has set that date for the day he will now announce.
Banner is one of five Seattle Times Blue Chip players for 2012, and one of three still yet to officially commit. He’s the only one of those three said to still be considering UW — he also is considering USC and Oklahoma. One of the other five, Mercer Island QB Jeff Lindquist, has also committed to UW. Banner’s decision will almost certainly determine if UW will get one or two of the players considered among the top five in the state this year.
UPDATED, 10:20 A.M. — Mason Kelley has more details on Banner’s announcement, as well as an update on Cedric Dozier.
