Tuesday night notes

A little bit of staff news and a few other notes to pass along. …

Danny O’Neil has the details on the Seahawks hiring away a couple of UW staffers — John Glenn, who had been an offensive quality control coach, and Kenechi Udeze, who had been an assistant strength coach. At UW, those are both spots were one cannot coach on the field or recruit.

— USA Today sports handicapper Danny Sheridan has UW QB Keith Price 40-1 in his early odds on the 2012 Heisman Trophy — 14th on the list.

— Bellevue High coach Butch Goncharoff is in the running for the head coaching job at Orange Lutheran High in Orange, Calif. That’s the same school where 2012 UW signee Darien Washington played, as well as current Husky Garret Gilliland.

— Bloguin.com mentions UW’s defense in a look at the top 10 off-season storylines in the Pac-12.

— Sad news today as Bill Milus, former coach at Lincoln High in Tacoma where Lawyer Milloy played, and also the father of former Husky player and assistant Ron Milus, has died.
