Wednesday night links

On the last night of Feb. 29 we’ll have for a while, a few links to pass along. …

— ESPN.com’s Pac-12 blog continues its countdown of the top players in the conference in 2011 and has Chris Polk at No. 9 (and I’m assuming that’s probably it for Huskies with Keith Price having earlier been at No. 11.

— SBNation has a good breakdown of Polk’s Combine performance.

— An Atlanta Falcons blog raves about Polk. So does an Eagles blog.

— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller answers some questions about UW and lots of other things in his weekly Pac-12 chat.

— Former USC running back Dillon Baxter, who had recently transferred to San Diego State, wouldn’t have been eligible to play against the Huskies next Sept. 1 anyway. But it’s a moot point now as he’s no longer on the SDSU roster after being dismissed today.

— OregonLive.com takes a look at what kind of punishments Oregon might get.

— ESPN.com’s Chris Low says there’s no reason to restrict a four-team playoff.

All for now.
